7. Senior Business Development Executive
Purpose
- To plan, manage and supervise works of business development for providing customers with technical support, executing and coordinating with Engineering Department and Project to meet customer’s requirements, deadline, gross-margin and revenue expectation, preparing technical products and services demonstrations to potential and existing clients and ensure that sales targets are achieved.
Qualification
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in engineering, science, business administration, marketing or closely related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in marketing and sales within utility industry or related industry including 1 years in supervisory level
- Experience with marketing and sales software and other related programs is required
- Fluently speak, read and write both Thai and English
Responsibilities
Managerial
- Be accountable for the performance of staff under supervision
- Report section’s performance and other relevant issues to Manager, Marketing & Sales Department
- Be responsible and involved in human resource processes and activities
- Manage the planning, budgeting and control of resources within area of responsibility
- Encourage effective team work and monitor team morale
- Manage and maintain effective communication within area of responsibility
Functional
- Plan and develop sales procedures and activities to ensure that a sale target is achieved
- Closely work with Marketing & Sale team to schedule potential and targeted customers
- Actively search for new potential customers from various marketing channels in accordance to organizational market segmentations and maintain track records of potential customers
- Convince and persuade customers that products/ services can best respond and satisfy their needs, prices, and quality
- Provide pre-sale technical assistances, product/services educations and detailed technical presentation e.g. product demo, prototypes to potential customers
- Manage and interpret customer requirements in order to develop a project proposal and ensure that offered products and/ or services exceed customer requirements and needs
- Collaborate and coordinate with Engineering Department to meet bidding deadlines and project commitment
- Collaborate with Engineering Department to develop and identify budgetary and fixed price estimation for projects
- Responsible for managing technical proposals and primarily analyze project cost estimation and revenues expectations based on customer specifications and proposal documentations
- Support all marketing activities and programs
- Regularly prepare administrative works e.g. sale reports to manager, marketing and sales department
- Travel to visit potential customers to establish a long-term relationship with customers
- Regularly maintain an advance technical understanding of all products and services
- Be responsible for training staffs under supervision according to the requirements
- Perform other related duties as required
